Monument Entertainment based in Atlanta Georgia specializing in promoting talent and bringing talent to a new level. It all started with a phone call. That phone call from “Buzz” Buzhardt lead Steve K. Kendrick into helping a young man “Cody Webb” seek his dream in country music entertainment. That help has now morphed itself into a small company by the name of Monument Entertainment LLC.
Monument Entertainment currently has not only talent within country music but also has added talent from the industries of acting/modeling, novelist/motion picture and feature documentarian. The passion these individuals shared was something that could not go unnoticed, so Steve decided to make a change in the entertainment business. Instead of only admiring the talent of up and coming artist, he would help them become stars. And so, Monument Entertainment was born.
It all began 8 years with a family business named S&S Productions, Marilyn Strickland had a dream to help and inspire young talent to be brave enough to reach for their dreams and enter the world of entertainment. Helping talent runs in this family with strong ties to one of the top modeling agencies in New York, Vision Modeling. With the help and support of her Son, Andy Silcox, S&S Productions helped hundreds of young talent connect with the top scouts in the United States that lead to opportunities in the modeling, acting, singing, and songwriting world.
In 2013, Marilyn Strickland of S&S Productions retired, and Andy took the years on the road of auditions and experience to the next level. After years of seeing and coaching people to reach their dreams, Andy created Dreamz Model and Talent. Andy’s Dream was to bring the first talent showcase to the Southeast. Establishing the showcase in the Southeast will allow the top talent to attend in the most affordable manner possible. In an effort of bringing it home, Dreamz Model and Talent, secured the Daphne Civic Center in Daphne, Alabama on June 5th, 6th and 7th. The Inaugural Dreamz Model and Talent Showcase has been set, the long hours of networking have paid off, as Andy has contracted the best of the best to scout/attend the showcase. So as the stage is being prepared to host 200+ of the most talented people in the Southeast for the upcoming Showcase, plan on being a part of a life changing experience with a little southern hospitality flair. We all have dreams, let Dreamz get you there!
